About me
I came to photography from a scientific background. After studying biology at university I followed a master's degree in imaging and photography for scientists. Since then I’ve expanded my interests to multiples genres, as is shown in the galleries of this website.
After finishing University, I was invited by Dr. William Fowlds, in the Eastern Cape (South Africa) to be the digital media producer in his rhinoceros conservation team. My role there was to document through photographs and videos their various activities and communicate about their conservation efforts. There I developed a hunger for capturing stories with images.
I consider myself a ‘forever student’ as I keep my curiosity fuelled by discovering masters of photography. As I draw inspiration from their style, I learn to see things I didn’t before and my photography grows. Nowadays I am looking to dive into portraiture and studio lighting.
I am constantly looking for new opportunities to take pictures and tell stories. I’d be glad to hear from you if you would like to collaborate.
